The work of nature is observed from a place of theatrical appeal in an elegant and recherché build. Nestled in low-lying tropical foliage, Amanyara is serenaded by the sweet melodies of contented coastal songbirds. Aside endless pearly soft beaches, near rugged iron-shore outcrops, it faces some of the most revered reef walls and dive sites in the world. Using mainly timber and glass, under low rooflines, it bows with graceful tropical modernity to its earthbound mistress. Sliding glass windows surround the 40 timber-shingle pavilions, retracting on three sides creating a liberating sense of â��onenessâ�� with the coast. Providenciales lies just within the Atlantic Ocean, beside the Caribbean Sea, overshadowed for years by its celebrated neighbours resulting, fortuitously, in an untainted and refreshingly unaltered coast and hinterland. Natureâ��s aesthetes, diving enthusiasts, lovers of tennis, golf, fishing and sailing, gentle beach strollers, and passive admirers, can all relish in the rich pickings that both nature and Amanyara can offer in harmonious abundance. All timber-shingled pavilions are identical in layout and design. An overhanging roofline creates shaded outdoor areas on the pavilionâ��s three terraces which are accessible through large sliding glass doors that open to catch the cooling sea breezes. Arrival to a pavilion is via an entrance terrace that houses two daybeds. Sliding glass doors open to reveal the roomâ��s interior which features a central king-size bed behind which sits a writing desk and chair. Beyond is a cabinet that contains a personal bar with refreshments. Positioned in the corners of the room are a reading chair with a footstool and an entertainment unit comprising a flat screen television and DVD/CD player with surround sound system. This combined bedroom and living room also opens onto two additional terraces, the first with twin banquettes for lounging or dining and the second featuring a sunken table with cushions and bolsters and two sunning mats on an exposed timber terrace. The bathroom area is separated from the room by a decorative wooden screen and features an elegant free-standing bathtub with an adjacent ottoman. Twin vanities are located on either side of the bathroom as well as a separate â��rain showerâ�� room and toilet. Accessed from the bathroom, there is a dressing area with hanging and storage space and a personal safe. Measuring a total of 1,250ft² (116m²), the pavilions capture a tropical aesthetic by incorporating a simple palette of colours and materials. The floor is polished sand-coloured terrazzo, with teak inlays and sisal matting used throughout. Pavilions Each pavilion is sited on the edge of tranquil ponds with a timber sun deck extending over the water. Partial Ocean Pavilions These pavilions are nestled in the vegetation along the shoreline. Ocean Pavilions Positioned along the oceanfront with views of the ocean, these pavilions are elevated approximately 15-20ft above the waterline and have pathways leading to the rock formations above the sea. Pavilion 115 Pavilion 115 enjoys sweeping ocean vistas and has direct access to a sandy beach cove.

Amanyara has announced the launch of a Serenity Villa, a wellness facility offering massages, scrubs, wraps, and beauty treatments along with yoga and Pilates classes.   Now, in addition to a wide range of services available in the privacy of the pavilions and villas, guests have the option of visiting a beautiful retreat dedicated to workouts, treatments and well being.

The Serenity Villa encompasses 13,000 square feet including a reception area and four treatment pavilions built around a swimming pool.  The reception pavilion is a spacious lounge where herbal tea and health drinks are served before or after treatments. Each treatment pavilion can accommodate one couple and features a changing area with double vanities, a soaking tub and a “rain” shower.  Two of the pavilions feature outdoor bathtubs and showers set within the walls of a small garden.  There is a separate studio, equipped with a Reformer, for private Pilates or yoga sessions.

A menu of massages is available to restore balance, release muscle tension and increase circulation including a Deep Tissue Massage and exotic offerings such as the Shiatsu or Ancient Thai Massage based on teachings from the East.  Luxurious body treatments incorporate Amanresorts’ custom-blended body products made from natural and locally-sourced ingredients such as a Kaffir Lime Body Scrub and Massage and a Jojoba Bead Scrub and Wrap.  Facials and after-sun treatments are also available. 

Fitness aficionados can focus on yoga and Pilates with complimentary yoga classes scheduled three times per week.  Mat Pilates classes, conducted in a group or private setting, and individual classes are also an option.  A knowledgeable “Master in Residence” is on staff to guide guests through the latest holistic healing practices.  .

Finally, for some, the most important Serenity Villa services of all are manicures, pedicures, hair styling, make-up and waxing, all of which can also be accommodated in the individual Pavilions or Villas.
